Stars line up for Met costume gala

NEW YORK, May 5 (UPI) -- Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Kate Moss and Madonna were among the guests at a Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York.

Also on hand at the glitzy fundraiser and dinner Monday were Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Eva Mendes, Renee Zellweger, Gisele Bundchen, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham, Kate Bosworth, Josh Hartnett, Blake Lively, Heidi Klum, Rachel Bilson, Kate Beckinsale, Liv Tyler and Katy Perry.

Vogue editor Anna Wintour served as co-chair of the dinner, along with fashion model Moss, designer Marc Jacobs and pop star/budding designer Justin Timberlake.

The New York Times said seats for "The Model as Muse"-themed event started at $7,500, with some tables costing as much as $250,000. The newspaper quoted organizers as saying the gala was sold out.
