Amanda Bynes tries to use Google as photo identification for flight
LOS ANGELES, May 2 (UPI) -- Waitress Sheana Marie says any claims she is dating John Mayer are not true, adding she is simply "hanging out" with the U.S. singer.
The 23-year-old actress-waitress confirmed in a recent interview Mayer is not her boyfriend, E! Online reported Friday.
"We're hanging out," Marie said of her relationship with Mayer, who previously dated actress Jennifer Aniston.
But an unidentified friend of Mayer insists Marie is even "exaggerating" such claims regarding her connection to the pop singer.
"They're no longer in contact," the friend told E! Online. "She's been exaggerating her interactions with him."
