Garrison, 28, is best known for his work on the drama series "Prison Break."

He was arrested in 2006 in connection with a wreck that killed a 17-year-old passenger and injured two 15-year-old girls in his car.

E! News said Garrison was greeted by family and friends outside of the California Correctional Institute in rural Tehachapi.

"He's done his time and now he's looking forward to trying to move on with his life," a source close to the actor told E!

Garrison is expected to soon check into an in-patient rehabilitation center to shorten his probation period, sources said.

"I'll definitely remember being the cat with nine lives. This is definitely not the last time you'll see me. I want to thank Kalamazoo and Michigan for supporting me and the judges for seeing something in me. I love you all," Giraud said upon learning his fate.

He was the first contestant to benefit from the judges' one-time-per-season save option when viewers voted him off the show two weeks ago.

Only four contenders remain.

'Jon & Kate' star denies cheating rumors

NEW YORK, April 30 (UPI) -- Married "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin admits he demonstrated poor judgment by going out and partying late one night with a female friend.

Photographs surfaced this week of the father of twins and sextuplets leaving a Pennsylvania bar at 2 a.m. with an unidentified woman. The pictures of the reality TV personality and his companion reportedly were taken while his wife Kate is traveling and promoting a book. They prompted Usmagazine.com to declare on the cover of its latest issue: "Caught with other woman. Shocking pics. The reality dad of 8 takes off his wedding band for a naughty night."

"Like most people, I have male and female friends, and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV," Gosselin told TV's "Extra." "However, being out with them late at night showed poor judgment on my part. What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position. My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them."

Jonas Brothers releasing fourth album

BURBANK, Calif., April 30 (UPI) -- The fraternal U.S. pop group Jonas Brothers plans to release its fourth album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" June 16, Hollywood Records said.

"Paranoid," the first single off the CD, will hit the airwaves and Internet May 8, and will also be available through Verizon for ring tones. The single will be sold as a digital download on iTunes, starting May 12.

"This is a personal experience for me. (The track) 'World War III' deals with the challenge of a girl who keeps attacking you, provoking you, trying to fight you, but all the while she's the only one fighting," Nick Jonas said in a news release.

"Fly with Me," which is also the end title credit for the upcoming "Night at the Museum 2" film, was written by the Jonas Brothers and their bass player Greg Garbowsky.

"We wrote this song for the last record while on the road and felt the old-school sound was more cohesive with our present style," Nick Jonas added.

In explaining the title of the album, Joe Jonas said, "Lines are the 'proverbial' lines people will feed you, and vines are obstacles that get in your way."
