Mellencamp, Nelson join 'Bob Dylan Show'

NEW YORK, April 24 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Bob Dylan has announced Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp will be joining him on his U.S. summer concert tour.

This will be only the second time in the past 24 years these three performers have shared a concert stage, Columbia Records said in a news release Friday.

The Bob Dylan Show has been touring minor league baseball parks during the summers since 2004.

All tickets for the July and August 2009 gigs are priced at $67.50 and most shows are general admission, allowing fans to grab a seat in the stands or find a place to watch from the field, the label said.

Tickets will go on sale in May and will be available at the local ballpark ticket office and affiliated ticket outlets.

Children 14 and under get in free with each adult ticket holder.

This summer's concert series will include stops in Sauget, Ill.; South Bend, Ind.; Louisville, Ky.; Dayton and Eastlake, Ohio; Washington and Allentown, Pa.; New Britain, Conn.; Syracuse, N.Y.; Pawtucket, R.I.; Lakewood, N.J.; Aberdeen, Md.; Norfolk, Va.; Durham, N.C.; Sevierville, Tenn.; Round Rock, Grand Prairie and Corpus Christi, Texas; Glendale, Ariz.; Las Vegas, Nev.; and Fresno and Stockton, Calif., Columbia said.
