LOS ANGELES, April 18 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Jennifer Garner said she wanted her 37th birthday to be a low-key affair without a big celebration.
The mother-of-two said thanks to her life being "full," she did not want her birthday Friday to be an elaborate affair like in years past, preferring instead to celebrate the event in a calm fashion, People.com said.
"You know, this year it just doesn't (require a big party)," Garner said at a promotion for her new movie "Ghost of Girlfriends Past."
"Life is full."
The former "Alias" actress, who is married to actor Ben Affleck, did admit she previously had been the type of person who would remind friends of family of her upcoming birthdays, but not this year.
"Normally, I am the person that says, 'You know my birthday is in three weeks, just so you know,'" Garner told reporters Friday. "But, today, I figured you guys would be pretty on top of that. It's a good one (and) I am going to celebrate it right here with you … . That's about as far as I've gotten."
