LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- Hollywood stars Richard Jenkins and Julia Roberts have been cast in the film adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's book "Eat, Pray, Love."
Jenkins was nominated earlier this year for an Oscar for his work in the movie "The Visitor."
Ryan Murphy is writing the screenplay for "Eat," as well as directing Jenkins and Roberts in it, Variety.com said.
Murphy is to begin shooting the film, in which Roberts plays an unhappily married woman who embarks on a journey of self-discovery, in July. The movie will take place in New York, Rome, India and Bali, Variety.com said.
Jenkins will play the Texan man Roberts' character meets at an Indian ashram.
