Barker to appear on 'Price is Right'

BURBANK, Calif., April 15 (UPI) -- Bob Barker, who spent 35 years as host of the U.S. game show "The Price is Right" will return as a guest to plug his memoir, "Priceless Memories," CBS said.

Barker is to appear on Thursday's edition of the popular game show, which now features Drew Carey as host.

"Barker will make a special appearance during the Showcase portion of the show, marking the first time he and Carey have worked together on the long-running game show and Barker's first appearance on the show since his retirement in June 2007," CBS noted. "Barker retired after 50 years in show business and 35 years of hosting 'The Price is Right.'"
