Michael Sheen joins 'New Moon' cast

LOS ANGELES, April 13 (UPI) -- Welsh-born actor Michael Sheen has joined the cast of the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon."

Sheen, 40, is best known for his roles in the films "Frost/Nixon" and "The Queen," as well as two installments of the "Underworld" franchise.

E! News said the actor is set to play Aro, leader of the Volturi vampire coven, in "New Moon," which is to hit theaters this fall.
