Pounder may star in Fox comedy pilot

LOS ANGELES, April 7 (UPI) -- Actress CCH Pounder is in talks to co-star in a pilot for a Fox comedy series called "Brothers," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Pounder is best known for her work on the TV dramas "The Shield" and "ER." She will soon be seen in the Sci Fi Channel series "Warehouse 13," as well as in the movie "Avatar."

"Brothers" is about the relationship between a retired NFL player, played by Michael Strahan, and his physically disabled brother, played by Darryl Mitchell.

Pounder is in talks to play their mother, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
