NEW YORK, April 6 (UPI) -- Paul McCartney's headlining gig at New York's Radio City Music Hall during the weekend raised about $3 million for the David Lynch Foundation, the group said.

Saturday's "Change Begins Within Benefit Concert" featured appearances by McCartney's fellow former Beatle Ringo Starr, as well as Sheryl Crow, Donovan, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Moby, Paul Horn, Bettye LaVette, Jim James, Howard Stern and Jerry Seinfeld.

Celebrities who attended the event included Jennifer Aniston, Yoko Ono, John McEnroe, Martin Scorsese, Carole King, Kyle MacLachlan, Stephen Collins, David Arquette, Beth Ostrosky, Michael J. Fox, Matthew Broderick, Jason Bateman, Olivia Harrison and Robin Quivers.

The David Lynch Foundation said the funds will go toward teaching 1 million at-risk children to meditate in hopes of giving them life-long tools to overcome stress and violence and promote peace and success in their lives.
