LOS ANGELES, April 6 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Lindsay Lohan says she and Samantha Ronson, her girlfriend of more than a year, are not together at the moment.

Recent media reports said Ronson, 31, changed the locks on her house -- which is where Lohan, 22, had been living for the past few months -- following numerous arguments.

"We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself," Lohan told E! News Monday.

Ronson wrote on her MySpace page Monday that the "aura in pleasanton is very pleasant," E! News reported.

Usmagazine.com noted that Ronson had also changed her relationship status to "single" on her MySpace page.
