Fox News, Roger Friedman 'part ways'

NEW YORK, April 6 (UPI) -- Fox News Channel has parted ways with its longtime entertainment columnist Roger Friedman, the U.S. cable operation announced Monday.

EW.com said the move came after Friedman reviewed an unfinished copy of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" that was leaked online last week. The film is being distributed by 20th Century Fox, which, like Fox News, is owned by News Corp.

Mr. Friedman is grateful to his colleagues for their friendship and support over the past decade."
