Rumer Willis sized up for 'Medium' role

LOS ANGELES, April 4 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Rumer Willis, daughter of actor Bruce Willis, will play a prostitute in an upcoming episode of "Medium," the TV series' executive producer says.

"Medium" executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron admitted it was a bit "strange" watching the daughter of a friend pretend to be a prostitute for the guest star role on the NBC drama, E! Online reported Friday.

"It's a little strange for me to have the daughter of one of my closest friends (Bruce Willis) play a prostitute, but she is really terrific in this role," Caron said.

Caron praised the performance by the younger Willis, saying the 20-year-old actress had traits from her action star father and her mother, actress Demi Moore.

"She's extremely talented and a wonderful mix of both Bruce and Demi," he told E! Online. "She has her mom's sensitivity and vulnerability, but that tough streak her dad has, and she's as bright as both of them. But she's really her own person."

E! Online said the "Medium" episode featuring Willis will air May 18.
