LOS ANGELES, April 3 (UPI) -- CBS has announced it is holding open casting calls in several U.S. cities for the 11th edition of its "Big Brother" reality television show.
The next season of the series is slated to air this summer.
"'Big Brother 11' will follow a group of people who will be living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones as their every move is recorded 24 hours a day," the network said in a news release. "Each week, the house guests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining house guests will win the grand prize of $500,000."
CBS said those who wish to audition for the show must be at least 21 and a citizen of the United States.

The tryouts are to take place in Jacksonville, Fla.; Atlanta; High Point, N.C.; Chicago; Flowood, Miss.; Waverly, Iowa; Nashville; Boston; New Orleans; New York; Louisville, Ky.; Moline, Ill.; Loves Park, Ill.; Abilene, Texas; Philadelphia; Austin; Charlotte; Tampa; Columbus; Chandler, Ariz.; Wilmington; Las Vegas; and Henderson, Nev., CBS said.
