LOS ANGELES, March 29 (UPI) -- Nickelodeon says U.S. movie stars Will Smith and Vanessa Hudgens were among the top winners at the 22nd Annual Kids' Choice Awards.
The U.S. TV network said in a news release Sunday that Smith earned a favorite movie actor award, while Hudgens was tabbed by Nickelodeon viewers as favorite movie actress.
Favorite movie honors went to "High School Musical 3" Saturday night at Los Angeles' Pauley Pavilion and the evening's favorite animated movie award went to "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa."
TV award honors included "iCarly" for favorite TV show, "SpongeBob SquarePants" as best cartoon and "American Idol" as Nickelodeon fans' favorite realty show.
Other favorites were singers Miley Cyrus and Jesse Mccartney, the Jonas Brothers pop group and Beyonce's song "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."
The awards were based on more than 90 million votes cast by Nickelodeon fans March 2-28.
