LOS ANGELES, March 28 (UPI) -- Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner says he is selling a luxury home next to his famed Playboy mansion in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Times reported Saturday the 82-year-old Playboy magnate and his wife Kimberley have placed the 7,300-square-foot, two-story home next to the Holmby Hills mansion up for sale at a figure just shy of $28 million.
Hefner and his wife purchased the English Manor-style home in 1998, 69 years after it was built in the Los Angeles neighborhood.
The home, which sits next to the mansion known for housing curvaceous Playboy models, features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, along with a newly remodeled kitchen and a pool.
The Times said joining Hefner in the real estate market is singer Ruben Blades, who recently placed his five-bedroom home in Los Angeles' Windsor Square neighborhood up for sale at $2.65 million.
