Kidman cast in Woody Allen's next film

LOS ANGELES, March 26 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has joined the ensemble of Woody Allen's next as-yet-untitled London-set picture.

The actress will appear alongside Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Freida Pinto and Naomi Watts, Variety.com said. The film reportedly is scheduled to start shooting this summer.

Kidman's big-screen credits include "Malice," "My Life," "Days of Thunder," "Practical Magic," "The Hours," "The Golden Compass" and "Australia"

Allen's film "Whatever Works" is slated to open in U.S. theaters June 19.
