LOS ANGELES, March 23 (UPI) -- Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak pulled a hamstring while rehearsing for "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles.

Tom Bergeron, the host of the TV dance competition show, told E! News Wozniak is "determined" and is "still in the competition" despite the injury he sustained last Friday.

The New York Daily News said it is unclear whether Wozniak, who fractured a foot working on the series two weeks ago, would be able to compete Monday night.

Singer Jewel and TV personality Nancy O'Dell were forced to drop out of this edition of the show because they were injured during rehearsals before the season began. Former "Jackass" star Steve-O was treated for a back injury last week after he fell on his mic pack and aggravated an existing condition.

"There has to be some anxiety about the amount of injuries, because all of a sudden it feels like we're in an Ingmar Bergman film, only with spray tans," Bergeron told to E! News. "We're actually thinking of getting Pauley Perrette from 'NCIS' to do a forensic sweep of the ballroom to see what's going on."
