DETROIT, March 21 (UPI) -- Singer Aretha Franklin will be celebrating her 67th birthday a little early at a jazz locale in Detroit, the site's owner says.
Seldom Blues owner Frank Taylor said he is honored he so-called Queen of Soul would chose his eatery for her birthday celebration Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reported.

"It's always an honor to have the Queen of Soul here," said Taylor, who also owns the Detroit Fish Market. "We're honored that she would choose to have her birthday party here."
Taylor would not offer details about who would attend the party and who may perform for the "Respect" singer, whose actual birthday will be Wednesday.
