Will Smith nervous about daughter dating

CHICAGO, March 23 (UPI) -- The Smashing Pumpkins said on their Web site that drummer Jimmy Chamberlin has parted ways with the Chicago rock band.
The online announcement Friday offered no explanation for Chamberlin's exit but did assure Smashing Pumpkins fans the band would be resuming studio recording this spring, the Chicago Tribune reported.
"Corgan will continue to write and record as Smashing Pumpkins," the posting said, referring to Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan.
Corgan is the only remaining original member of the "Siamese Dream" band, which formed in 1988 in Chicago. The band's original members included Corgan, Chamberlin, guitarist James Iha and bassist D'arcy Wretzky.
