LONDON, March 19 (UPI) -- Britain's Advertising Standards Authority says it has banned a TV commercial for the DVD version of the action flick, "Wanted," because it glamorizes gun use.

The Telegraph said the controversial spot features sexy stars Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy kissing and firing guns.

"We concluded the ad could be seen to condone violence by glorifying or glamorizing the use of guns," the newspaper quoted ASA as saying.

The industry watchdog received only one complaint about the clip, The Telegraph said.

Universal Pictures reportedly was told the commercial can no longer air on British television in its current form because it gives the overall impression "that using guns was sexy and glamorous" and violated the code for television.
