LONDON, March 18 (UPI) -- British rocker Liam Gallagher has announced plans to start his own line of clothing called Pretty Green this June.

The Daily Telegraph said the Oasis front man's range of company-described "up-front, straight talking, classic" footwear, denim, knitwear, jackets, trench coats, parkas, T-shirts, hats, scarves and accessories will be sold online and through third-party outlets.

The line's name comes from a song by The Jam, the London newspaper noted.

"Clothes and music are my passion. I'm not here to rip anyone off and I'm not doing it for the money either. I'm doing it (because) there's a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear," Gallagher said in a statement.
