MINNEAPOLIS, March 18 (UPI) -- Actress Jessica Lange was hospitalized after she was injured in a fall at her Minnesota cabin, TMZ reported Wednesday.

The entertainment news Web site quoted family sources as saying the 59-year-old Oscar winner grabbed for an unstable railing and took a tumble. The Minneapolis Star Tribune said the cabin is located in the Duluth area, not far from where Lange grew up in Cloquet.

One family member told TMZ, "She's OK ... but very lucky."

Lange's publicist confirmed the incident to People.com Wednesday.

"She bruised her ribs, broke her collarbone and received a small cut on her forehead," her representative said in a statement issued to the magazine. "She will be completely fine and expects to be released from the hospital imminently."

The Star Tribune recalled Lange saying in a 2004 interview with AARP magazine that there is no place she'd rather be than at her cabin, which is in the woods and overlooking a lake.

Lange, who lives with her longtime beau, playwright and actor Sam Shepard, has starred in the films "Tootsie," "Country," "Sweet Dreams," "Blue Sky," "A Thousand Acres," "Rob Roy," "Big Fish" and "Don't Come Knocking." She will be seen this spring in the HBO movie "Grey Gardens."
