Ricci and Benjamin get engaged

NEW YORK, March 17 (UPI) -- Christina Ricci's publicist says the U.S. film actress and her comedian beau Owen Benjamin are engaged.

Ricci's representative confirmed the news to People.com, but did not say when they became betrothed or if they have set a wedding date.

The actress, who has starred in "Speed Racer," "Penelope," "Monster," "Sleepy Hollow," "The Addams Family" and "Mermaids," met Benjamin last year on the set of their yet-to-be-released movie "All's Faire in Love," the magazine said on its Web site.

Benjamin made his feature film acting debut with the 2008 big-screen comedy "The House Bunny."

The couple confirmed last October that they were dating.
