NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- Columbia Records Monday announced that U.S. recording artist Bob Dylan's new studio album will be released next month.

"Together Through Life," produced by Jack Frost, was recorded late last year. Dylan's record label said it was prompted by the composition of a new song, "Life Is Hard," which was written for a forthcoming film by "La Vie En Rose" director Oliver Dahan.

Dylan's latest album will be his 46th release. It is slated to drop April 28.
