LOS ANGELES, March 14 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Donald Faison, who plays Chris Turk on the comedy "Scrubs," will star in a new ABC comedy pilot, "The Law," an industry source says.
Faison and Cedric the Entertainer will play reserve Los Angeles Police Department officers in the ABC Studios/DreamWorks pilot, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.
Meanwhile, another ABC pilot, "V," has added Joel Gretsch to its cast. Gretsch, who appeared on the cable TV series "The 4400," will play a Catholic priest in the alien invasion drama.
"V" will serve as a remake of a 1983 TV mini-series of the same name that spawned a second mini-series and its own TV series.
In the land of CBS pilots, actor Ben Koldyke is now a cast member for the comedy pilot "Big D," about a New York couple who relocate to Dallas.
The Reporter said the Fox comedy pilot "Suns of Tucson" also has a new cast member, actress Natalie Martinez. "Tucson" will follow a man hired to pretend to be the father of three boys while their real father is in prison.
