DUBLIN, Ireland, March 12 (UPI) -- St. Patrick's Day this year will be celebrated with a special episode of "The Simpsons" in which the famous animated American family visits Ireland.

The episode is to be screened in Ireland on Sky1 Tuesday, ahead of its transmission in the United States for the first time in the show's 20-year history.

Ireland's Paddy Power betting firm says it has wasted no time fielding wagers regarding how Homer and his clan treat the country's landmark Blarney Stone and what Irish cliche they might utter first.

The firm said it is offering odds on Homer holding baby Maggie out to kiss the wall at 6/1, while the odds on Homer writing graffiti on the wall are just 8/1 and 25/1 that he misreads the word "kiss" and urinates on the Blarney Stone.

As for the Irish cliche, "O beggorah" is the bookies' favorite at 8/1, followed by "Top o' the mornin' to ye" at 9/1 and "To be sure, to be sure" at 10/1.

"We're no strangers to betting on 'The Simpsons,'" Paddy Power said in a news release. "We're still feeling the pain from the massive payout we faced when baby Maggie shot Mr Burns all those years ago! The Simpsons don't miss a trick, so there's bound to be lots of Irish colloquialisms and paddy whackery to watch out for!"
