SAVANNAH, Ga., March 11 (UPI) -- Mandy Moore's publicist confirmed the U.S. singer-actress wed her singer/songwriter beau Ryan Adams this week.

Moore's representative told People magazine the couple married in Savannah, Ga., but offered no details about the wedding.

Moore and Adams, who reportedly dated on-and-off for about a year, announced their engagement last month.

Moore has appeared in the films "A Walk to Remember," "American Dreamz" and "License to Wed." She also had roles on TV's "Entourage," "Scrubs" and "How I Met Your Mother," and her next album, "Amanda Leigh," is set for release May 26.

Adams, who has performed with the bands Whiskeytown and The Cardinals, is best known for his song "New York, New York."
