LOS ANGELES, March 9 (UPI) -- Nate Corddry and Molly Parker have been cast in the pilot for the New York-set HBO comedy series, "The Wonderful Maladys."

Corddry and Parker, along with the previously announced Sarah Michelle Gellar, are to play siblings whose parents died when they were younger in the pilot, which was written by Charles Randolph and will be directed by Alan Taylor, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Corddry co-starred in "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and has a recurring role on "United States of Tara"; Parker has appeared on "Swingtown" and "Deadwood;" and Gellar is best known for her portrayal of the title character in the TV version of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
