NORRKOPING, Sweden, March 8 (UPI) -- Melodifestivalen judges say singers Sarah Dawn Finer, Carolina af Ugglas and Sofie Berntsson will compete in the Swedish Eurovision contest's finals.
The international panel of judges filled out the Swedish music contest's final round with the three singers following a "Second Chance" competition in Norrkoping, The Local reported Sunday.
Finer, a favorite going into the Melodifestivalen tournament, earned a finals spot by performing her ballad "Moving On." The singer was successful in her finals attempt despite battling off the flu during the performance, the Local said.
Meanwhile, af Ugglas defeated Rigo & The Topaz Sound featuring Red Fox during Saturday's televised competition with the song "Please Please."
The roster of 11 finalists who will compete March 14 was then completed with the addition of Berntsson and her solo hit "Alla," the Local said.
The Melodifestivalen is used by Sweden to choose the country's lone representative in the Eurovision Song Contest.
