"Hancock" premiere in London

LOS ANGELES, March 2 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Jason Bateman is reuniting with his "Juno" director, Jason Reitman, for the big-screen adaptation of Walter Kirn's novel "Up in the Air."

Variety.com reported George Clooney will co-star in the movie as a corporate down-sizer obsessed with accumulating frequent flier miles at the expense of living his life. Bateman is to play his boss.

Bateman was recently seen in "Hancock" and will soon appear in the ensemble drama "State of Play."
