LOS ANGELES, March 2 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne has announced plans to bring his "Time the Conqueror World Tour" back to North America this summer.

The two-month-long leg of the tour is to kick off July 7-8 with shows in Orillia, Ontario.

Canadian dates also include concerts in Ottawa and Montreal before the tour begins a coast-to-coast sweep of the United States, starting July 13 in Danbury, Conn. The itinerary is to conclude Aug. 31 in St. Paul, Minn.

With shows billed as "An Evening with Jackson Browne," the summer 2009 dates -- following legs in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe -- bring the world tour full circle.

It began with an initial U.S. leg last September that coincided with Browne's 60th birthday and the release of "Time the Conqueror," his first studio set since 2002.
