LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- "The Love Guru" won three Razzie Awards, including for worst picture of 2008, at a ceremony in Los Angeles Saturday.

The film also earned the worst screenplay trophy, while its star, Mike Myers, picked up the prize for worst actor.

Paris Hilton won three Razzies -- for worst actress and as part of the year's worst screen couple, along with co-stars Christine Lakin and Joel David Moore, for "The Hottie & The Nottie," and for worst supporting actress in "Repo: The Genetic Opera."

Pierce Brosnan garnered the award for worst supporting actor for his singing role in "Mamma Mia!"

"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" earned the gong for worst prequel, remake, rip-off or sequel, and "Tunnel Rats" and "Postal" filmmaker Uwe Boll took both the 2008 worst director Razzie and a special worst career achievement dis-honor.

"Winners" of the Golden Raspberry Awards were determined by mailing ballots to 657 voters in 45 U.S. states and 19 foreign countries. The Razzies were created in 1980 as an answer to Hollywood's "annual glut of self-congratulatory awards" by John Wilson, author of "The Official Razzie Movie Guide" and "Everything I Know I Learned at the Movies," organizers said.
