LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Universal is trying to a secure a director for "Little Fockers," the second sequel in the "Meet the Parents" franchise, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Producers are talking to several comedy directors about heading up the movie -- which is expected to again star Ben Stiller, Teri Polo and Robert De Niro -- because "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers" director Jay Roach is working on another project. Roach will, however, produce "Little Fockers," which is said to concentrate on Stiller's and Polo's characters and their children.
The Hollywood Reporter said "I Love You, Man" writer-director John Hamburg is penning the screenplay for "Fockers," which is tentatively slated to go before the cameras this summer or fall.
