Sheen's pregnant wife hospitalized

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Charlie Sheen's publicist says the U.S. actor's wife Brooke was hospitalized with premature contractions, but was doing "fine."

"Brooke is at a Los Angeles-area hospital, where she was admitted yesterday morning with premature contractions -- which is not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins," publicist Stan Rosenfield told People magazine Wednesday. "She's fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today."

Brooke Mueller Sheen, a real estate agent and former actress, is due to give birth to twin boys -- her first children with Charlie Sheen -- in April. The couple married last May.

Sheen, the star of TV's "Two and a Half Men," has three other children from two previous relationships.
