AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- The Oak Ridge Boys and Little Steven have joined the lineup for this year's South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival in Austin, organizers said.

The festival is slated to take place March 18-22.

The Oak Ridge Boys are expected to sit down for an SXSW interview March 19 at the Austin Convention Center. The group will discuss their experiences, offer advice to new artists, answer audience questions, and possibly offer an a cappella song or two, organizers said.

Van Zandt is also a record producer, actor, human rights activist, radio and TV content producer and radio disc jockey, as well as a founding member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

Also scheduled to perform at the SXSW music festival are Steve Aoki, Brownout, Chiwoniso, Easy Action, Perry Farrell, Charles Hamilton, P.J. Harvey & John Parish, Ladyhawke, LMFAO, MSTRKRFT, The Proclaimers, Reigning Sound, Rox, School of Seven Bells, Shwayze, That Petrol Emotion, Themselves, Wayna and The Whip.
