PARIS, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Mexican-born film star Salma Hayek and her French businessman beau Francois-Henri Pinault were married in Paris on Valentine's Day, it was reported Monday.

The couple have been together off and on for the past several years. They are the parents of Valentina Paloma Pinault, a daughter born in September 2007.

News of Hayek and Pinault's weekend wedding first appeared in Monday's online edition of the French newsmagazine Le Point, a publication owned by the Pinault family, People.com noted.

The Le Point report said the pair wed at the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris Saturday.

Hayek is best known for her roles in the films "Desperado," "From Dusk Till Dawn," "Dogma," "Frida" and "Once Upon a Time in Mexico." She is also an executive producer on the popular TV series "Ugly Betty."
