LONDON, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Mickey Rourke may be romantically tied to singer Courtney Love as both celebrities were at a recent London event, British sources claim.
The Los Angeles Times reported Friday multiple British newspapers claimed Rourke and Love were romantically tied after the actor and rock singer appeared at the recent Elle Style Awards.
Rourke was honored at the event for his role in "The Wrestler," while Love received a Woman of the Year award.
The unsubstantiated romance rumors involving Rourke come as the actor has mounted a Hollywood comeback with his highly lauded "Wrestler" performance.
Love is the widow of the late Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain and is the lead singer for the rock band Hole.
