LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Tragedy-struck singer Jennifer Hudson said at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles that she is focused on the here and now.
Hudson, who lost three family members in a triple homicide last October, performed at the Beverly Hilton Hotel party Saturday along with fellow singers Whitney Houston, Rod Stewart and Kelly Clarkson, Foxnews.com reported Sunday.
Hudson, who is to perform at the Grammy Awards, was limited in her comments when asked about her future plans.
"I am here, now, that's all I can say," the "Dreamgirls" star said.
Other notable names at Davis's party included actress Joan Collins, actor Jamie Foxx, the Jonas Brothers, comedian Chris Tucker and country music star Dwight Yoakam.
Foxnews.com said rapper Kanye West delivered a shock at the gala event, apologizing for previous acts of arrogance he may have committed.
