LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- The names of the cast members of the next edition of "Dancing with the Stars" are to be dropped throughout ABC's Sunday night lineup, the U.S. network said.

"Dancing with the Stars" host Tom Bergeron is to announce the names of the next contestants in interstitials throughout ABC's prime time schedule, beginning with "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," and followed by "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters."

ABC.com will post the Season 8 names as they're revealed on air. The first live in-studio interview with a new cast member is scheduled for "Good Morning America" Monday. A cast member is also expected to drop by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" next Tuesday, ABC said.

Season 8 of "Dancing with the Stars" is slated to begin March 9.
