

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Organizers of the 51st annual Grammy Awards say a pre-telecast ceremony, during which many prizes are to be handed out, will be streamed on Grammy.com.
The pre-telecast ceremony is to take place Feb. 8 from 1-3:45 p.m. PST at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It will be streamed live internationally on www.grammy.com beginning at 1 p.m. PST, and will remain on the Web site for 30 days.
The ceremony is the non-televised event in which a majority of Grammys are awarded. It is scheduled just hours before the live telecast at 8 p.m. EST/PST on CBS.
Wayne Brady and Tia Carrere are to serve as hosts of and performers at the pre-telecast event. Additional live performances will be given by Lila Downs, Hilary Hahn and Heavy D.
Among those presenting Grammy Awards in about 99 categories will be Yolanda Adams, Robert Aubry Davis, Lamont Dozier, Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer, Alex Raymundo and Blair Underwood, The Recording Academy said.
