
INDIO, Calif., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Organizers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival say they have signed singer Paul McCartney and the Killers to play at the Indio, Calif., event.
Variety reported Friday that the former Beatles bass guitarist will headline the 10th annual Coachella festival scheduled to being April 17 along with the Killers and the Cure.
A ticket for the first day of the festival costs $103, but the festival begins with performances by McCartney, singer Leonard Cohen, The Black Keys and Franz Ferdinand.
Day two of Coachella will include performances from the Killers, Thievery Corporation, Band of Horses, TV on the Radio and singer Amy Winehouse.
Variety said the festival will conclude on April 19 with the Cure, Throbbing Gristle, My Bloody Valentine and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
