WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- George Clooney has agreed to discuss his Edward R. Murrow movie "Good Night, and Good Luck" at the National Television Academy in Washington, the Newseum said.

Clooney directed, co-wrote and co-starred in the 2005 black and white film about how broadcaster Murrow spoke out against U.S. Sen. Joseph McCarthy and his infamous crusade against suspected communists in the United States in the 1950s.

Newseum said Clooney will join Bill Small, chairman of news and documentary Emmys at the National Television Academy, Monday at the Newseum to participate in a discussion and screening of "Good Night, and Good Luck."

The live panel will be moderated by Distinguished Journalist in Residence, Nick Clooney, who is teaching a course at American University based on his book, "The Movies that Changed Us: Reflections on the Screen."

The program is the second of four films being screened at the "Reel Journalism with Nick Clooney" film series sponsored by the Newseum and the American University School of Communication.

Nick Clooney is George's father and a former television journalist.
