LONDON, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Kings of Leon, Duffy and Girls Aloud have agreed to perform at The Brit Awards ceremony at London's Earls Court next month, organizers said.
They will join the lineup for the Feb. 18 event, along with the previously announced acts U2 and Pet Shop Boys. Pop star Kylie Minogue, and comedians Mathew Horne and James Corden are slated to serve as hosts of the awards show, which honors the previous year's best in British music.
"With performances from U2 and Pet Shop Boys already confirmed, the addition of Girls Aloud, Duffy and Kings of Leon to the bill means we are heading towards a truly special 'Brits' this year," Ged Doherty, chairman of The BRITs Committee, said in a statement.
"Added to Kylie, Mathew and James hosting, it's going to be a must-see event."
