LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Hollywood stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have named their newborn daughter Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, Garner's publicist told People.com.

The couple's second child was born Jan. 6 in Los Angeles. The film stars are also the parents of 3-year-old Violet.

People.com said no explanation was given for the name, but it noted that one Web site specializing in the origin of names said Seraphina is "derived from the Biblical word 'seraphim,' which was Hebrew in origin and meant 'fiery ones.'"
