Will Smith nervous about daughter dating
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- "30 Rock" star Tina Fey says Internet bloggers who criticize her on a Los Angeles Times online forum can "suck it."
Using the occasion of her acceptance speech for winning the best actress in a comedy television series award at Sunday's 66th Annual Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, Calif., Fey called out several of the bloggers on the Times' The Envelope online forum by their "handles."
"If you ever start to feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet," Fey said. "You can find a lot of people there who don't like you. I'd like to address some of them now. BabsonLacrosse, you can suck it. DianeFan, you can suck it. Cougar Letter, you can really suck it 'cause you've been after me all year."
Asked by the Times after the speech if she's really hurt by the snarky and sometimes hateful comments from anonymous bloggers, Fey, said jokingly. "I don't know what I did to them. DianeFan thinks I have a smug smile. I don't know her. I don't what I did to her."
More seriously, she added, "Sometimes (I take it personally), but not too much. I don't read it too much."
