NEW YORK, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A friend of Ana Ortiz told People.com the "Ugly Betty" actress is pregnant with her first child by her musician husband Noah Lebenzon.

Ortiz married Lebenzon, the guitarist for the band Half Life, in June 2007.

Their baby reportedly is due to be born at the end of July.

"They are thrilled and ecstatic," the friend told People.com. "They can't wait to be parents."
