LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- British actress Kate Winslet says she has stayed a size 6 movie star through the use of exercise DVDs and adhering to a sensible diet.

The 33-year-old actress, whose newest movie is "Revolutionary Road," said she maintained her slim look without becoming a regular attendee of a gym or health club, People magazine reported Friday.

"I don't go to the gym because I don't have time, but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home," Winslet said.

The mother-of-two added that eating right is also a key to keeping a slim figure, especially when facing weight-obsessed members of the entertainment media.

"I still don't believe this craziness for being skinny, but I eat sensibly and I don't stuff down chocolate biscuits," the "Titanic" star said.

People said Winslet's trim build comes as the Hollywood actress is featured in sex scenes in both "Road" and her other new film, "The Reader."
