UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Patton Oswalt are set to star in a one-time-only comedy performance in Los Angeles, Universal Pictures said.

The Jan. 13 event at the Orpheum Theatre, which will also feature appearances by writer/director/producer Judd Apatow and Aziz Ansari, is to be filmed for use in Apatow's upcoming movie "Funny People."

Apatow is to be the host of "A Night of Funny People" at the Orpheum, during which Sandler, Rogen, Hill and Ansari are to perform live as their characters from the film.

Oswalt and other surprise special guests are to be included in the lineup, as well.

Tickets are $20 and are to go on sale through Ticketmaster Friday. Audience members must be over the age of 18.

Proceeds from the night will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and 826LA, Universal said in a news release.

"Funny People" is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters July 31.
