60th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Kate Walsh and her husband, Alex Young, a production co-president at 20th Century Fox, have filed for divorce, court papers show.

Walsh is best known for her work on TV's "Grey's Anatomy" and its spin-off "Private Practice."

People magazine said court papers show Young petitioned for divorce Nov. 22, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple married in September 2007.
